Gofal Enterprises Ltd (GEL), the trading subsidiary of Welsh mental health and wellbeing charity Gofal, has appointed two directors to support its growth plans.
Human resources specialist Kate Matthews and finance expert Andrew Morris are the new additions to the GEL board.
Matthews is a director of EST HR and a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). She has experience in human resources, together with a background in founding and growing companies in the business services sector.
Morris is an accountant and director of corporate finance firm Lexington Corporate Advisors. He has more than 20 years’ experience of advising on business growth, acquisitions, disposals and fundraising.
Matthew Cole, director of business development at Gofal, said: "Adding Kate and Andrew strengthens the board’s experience at a time of growth following the acquisition of APP UK. We have exciting plans on the horizon and their backgrounds in finance and HR respectively support our plans."
The appointments follow the recent acquisition of first acquisition of Caerphilly-based cleaning firm APP UK, the first for the company and one of a number planned.
